Kentucky Lake Wild Card Event May 10 & 11, 2024: Press Release
Kentucky Lake will be the home of the 2024 NCL Wild Card event, which will be the first of the year. The tournament will take place on May 10th and 11th and is hosted by the Kentucky Lake Tourism.
Amateur and semi-pro anglers can participate in Division I, which will take place on May 11th. The entry fee for Division I is $300.00 per team. Open Division teams will participate on both May 10th and 11th, and the entry fee for this division is $500.00 per team. Memberships for both divisions are $50.00 per person.
A late fee will apply for both divisions after midnight on May 5th, 2024. The payback is 100% for each division.
The pre-tournament meeting and late registration for open division teams will take place at Moors Resort & Marina, located at 570 Moors Rd, Gilbertsville, KY, on May 9th, 2024. Late registration and check-in will be from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and the tournament meeting will start at 6:00 PM. Division I teams can register on May 9th or May 10th after the weigh-in at Moors Resort Marina.
Anglers will fish from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and the weigh-in will take place at Moors Resort & Marina. The off-water limits are until 4:00 PM on May 9th, 2024, and anglers must be in the weigh-in line by 3:30 PM. The weigh-in is open to the public.
There will be a free kids fishing rodeo sponsored by NCL and DMF Baits on May 11th, 2024, at Moors Resort & Marina. Registration for kids will be open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and the fishing will start from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
