A Crazy Crappie Cash event will be held on West Point Lake, LaGrange, GA on January 26 & 27.   The Crazy Crappie Cash is a big fish tournament with hourly weigh-ins.  Anglers may fish from docks, banks, kayaks or motorized boats while going after the big crappie.

Anglers may pre-register at www.crazycrappiecash.com or come to the pre-tournament meeting on January 25th at the Oakfuskee Conservation Center, 300 King Fishing Lane, LaGrange, GA.  Sign-in and Sign up is at 5:00 PM with the meeting starting at 6:00 PM.

The weigh-in location is Pyne Road Park, 4481 Roanoke Rd., LaGrange, GA.

Fishing hours will be from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM.  Anglers must be off the water and not fishing the lake at 4:00 PM on January 25th.   Anglers that fish both days must be off water and not fishing in any manner at 4:00 PM after the first day of competition.

A free kids fishing rodeo will be held on January 27th at the Group County Ag Center, 2168 Pkwy, LaGrange, GA.  The event is for kids 12 and under.  Registration will be from 8 AM to 9 AM with fishing hours from 9 AM to 10:30 AM.
