May 18, 2024 Lake Salamonie-Mississinewa Division I Tournament: Press Release
The National Crappie League is holding a Division I tournament on Lakes Salamonie and Mississinewa in Wabash, IN on May 18, 2024, hosted by the Nothead Tackle, Visit Wabash, Miami County Tourism and Quality Plumbing & Heating The tournament is structured for amateur and semi-pro anglers. The tournament payout will be 100% plus an additional contribution of $25.00 per boat from NCL. The entry fee for each team is $300.00, while memberships cost $50.00 per person. If you haven’t registered before midnight on May 12, 2024, a late fee of $25.00 will apply.
The pre-tournament meeting and late registration will held on May 17, 2024, at the Fairgrounds, 600 Gillen Ave., Wabash, IN. Late registration and check-in will be between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, while the tournament meeting will commence at 6:00 PM.
Anglers will fish from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and the weigh-in will take place at Dora Boat Ramp, 600 E 250 S Wabash County. The off-water limits are 4:00 PM on May 17, 2024. Anglers must be in the weigh-in line by 3:30 PM. The weigh-in is open to the public.
A free kids fishing rodeo sponsored by NCL and DMF Baits will take place on May 18, 2024, at the Wabash Chapter Izaak Walton League of America, 10439 S Old St Rd 13, Lafontaine, IN. Registration for kids will be open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and the fishing will commence from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
